I've played the 20k at PDC for a $55+5 at PDC a few times
The biggest buy in ive played is the $100+9 At Bodog but won the seat for that one
My biggest win is 3k in the 10k (now the 20k) at PDC for which i qualified by the way of a $5 sat

in live poker, I think the most I paid for an entry is $55.00, usuaslly $25.00 though, but several times have cashed for between $900.00 to $2000.00 aprox...
Online, the most is $25.00, and again, had some good cashes...
The best return on a buy in was the $5.50 OFC game @ Reefer, think I won about $450.00 in that one...

The biggest buy in was the Sunday million for $250 but won a sat for the seat.
biggest win was 30k guaranteed with 5k added $30 buy in I won 12k

in most of cases i play only extreme turbo sng's for 2.50$ (euro's) - 11$
but my largest buy in was for 60$ to a 300k $ tournament, and i didn't win anything, but my best winning was 120$ in one torunament, it was a freeroll

i wish i won a big one i always make it to final table and go in with a premium hand and get donked out so sick most i won is 500 euros the good hands held up didnt get donked out

with stngs my bread n butter, the mtt buy ins i keep to under $11
i do play sats tho for the bigger games.
best so far is $3 sat seat to a grt bounty game at Cake $40 seat i think, but 9th place for $139 and 8 bounty's for $80

Believe my biggest buyin was a 100$ mtt.
Biggest win was 4k in a 20k freeroll 
Most of the time i buy in for no more than 15$
To my surprise i dont think the quality of play is any better at higher buyins. At least not in the early stage.
I guess donks come in all shapes and bankrolls

i have satellited in to some $109 tournies through APF (bodog) and think thats my biggest buyin.
the biggest one i payed for myself was $60 for a $25k gtd on merge last summer, and made it to FT in that one and won 750 
that was my biggest win up til i won the $3.5k gtd on Nordica for $1050 a few weeks ago.
live i think my biggest buyin was around $40, i didnt win any.. but had some percentages in mr mullet, so i got some money back from him when he finished 2nd
