how about having a heads up tourny for one of the extra by-in tournys.
gives everyone a chance to play heads up with some different league members. i know i could use some practice at heads up.

Here is one, how about a sponsorship program that helps those having trouble getting funded (usa) (canada) or financially challenged and give as needed for like special tournements that represent our forum specifically. We could base if on skill , or improvment , participation, posting or ones who represent and are most helpful towards others in our league. This way when a special game comes up like OFC they not only get to play the freeroll they also get to participate in the OFC buyin.

how about a team tourney of just mlp players but have teams or 2 and the combine points of both players will count..and the team winner is the team with the most points.

well.. gina I am poor person... but what has help me is that I have made lots of money on private freerolls from difernt sites and I was able to withdraw the money and put it other sites and some in my pockets... welll what you have to do is find private freeroll that dont have that many players but with a good pay out... thats why I like jungle poker it has lots of those and I was able to fill a good bankroll same with carbon poker i started with a priavte freerollsome money.. I have done that with lots of sites..there is at least 50 private freerolls a day..and i usaullly choose the day before what private freeroll or event im gonna be in.... but since i made bankroll i dont usually go in those freerolls that much but i still do the private buy in tourneys...I really woulndt go for sponsring a person so they can play casue as longs they have internet service there is alot free play out there... but maybe towards a charitbale organzition

what i would do is have a buy in tourney ON this site or at least have a league game with all the buy in going towards this site... with no prize and the only prize would be your rank i the standings... I would at least have one game like that.. that way it would help this site and future games.

I like the USA vs. The World idea. We've seen it done at the NHL all-star game before so I think trying here would be a great idea. We seem to have a pretty equal number of members from the States and other countries.

How about a challenge tourney against another forum? I know of another forum that challenged the poker.com forum. Sounded like fun and I'm sure it gave the challenging forum some name recognition.

How about and extra tourney for the US players or players in the westren hempshpere at night time PST and then u can have an xtra one o eurouple players, when u have your games it is 11am or 1pm us time usally i would like tio have a mlp game like 7 or 9 pm at night. pst. well at least have it for us.. who knows u might get new members for the other games u have...

we would love to do more satellite tuornaments but we're a little restricted by our budget at the moment. i'm sure you'll appreciate that for a forum our size, we have a pretty good amount of tournaments with great added value in the prize money.

as the site grows, we hope to be able to put even more money into our tournaments and i am working hard backstage to get the best possible deals for our members (such as the Poker Nordica games kicking off next month) whilst not constantly asking you to download a million poor poker sites to play at each month (something i've seen on other forums). we really do look for quality over the quantity if at all possible - of course some work and some do not.

so hopefully you'll see a lot of these ideas happen down the line and some maybe even sooner than you think !

Umm.. well u know has 40 dollar added to league games and other games... why dont we put 10 dollar toward a bounty for the person who has won the previous tournament or the points leader.. just one bounty..

We have the occasional bounty game.

I am not a big fan of them because while luck is factor in any hand, it requires continued skill to win a tourney and so should have the largest reward possible.

It was just an idea.. but i wasnt meaning like alot of money.... maybye like use like a 1 or 2 2 oe 4 cents game. the only reason i suggested because this forum has improve my tournament game so much. I just thought it would help me improve my ring games even more.. everybody on here is so friendly that if we had a low buy in cash game it would be good. so if using money is not good for a private cash game. why not have a private ring game with play money..

The cash isn't important as you point out Adam.

Recently before an mlp omaha hi/lo freeroll, harry suggested we met at a regular time on a play money table.

That was fun and a good learning experience. I'm sure with the right mind set, we would benefit from 'play cash' time against each other.

I am sure there are differences in between the cash table and tourney mind set, but as I tend to play tourneys mostly, haven't found any hard and fast rules I can pin down.

There is a novel offer in a poker magazine I buy on a new poker room.

The challenge is to make as much money as possible on June 30th from midnight to midnight, players are not allowed to deposit but will be given 1 euro to play with, if you lose it you are out.

The player with the most cash at midnight wins 1000 euros.

Could we run something like this (not for 1000 euros as that is a bit much for us)?
