News Feed displays upcoming games and times
- move mouse over window to pause text
- click on links to open tournament page
- updates automatically

Game Time Conversion
- a simple table showing selected Nordica/Carbon Poker Time converted to various time zones
- BST will change to GMT when applicable

A search feature for my-local-poker, our main sites & the worldwide web
- use drop down menu

Freeroll Monitor & Guaranteed Tournaments Monitor
- direct links to both these great tools available in both US and Non-US versions

The Poker Odds Calculator
- this will allow you to calculate the odds on various types of hands and includes all the H.O.R.S.E. formats.
Calculations can be made from 2 to 5 players at the table.

A Texas Holdem Poker Odds Chart
- appears in closable window

Links to the main areas (much like the quick links) of the Alternate-Poker site
- use drop down menu

Toolbar Forum Alerts
I've sorted out a feature that will allow the forum to send toolbar users special "alerts" which will appear at
the bottom right of your desktop, hold for a short space of time and then disappear. It will look something like this :

An alert will normally take 2 hours to send or be instant if you happen to refresh the toolbar. The message will
also be sent if if you don't have the toolbar active.

I don't plan to use this very often but it may well turn out handy should we have any special promotions on
the main pages or updates to important threads on the forum.

Naturally, you can opt in or out of receiving these messages by going into your "toolbar options". If you have
never received a message but have downloaded the toolbar, then you will need to "enable alerts" from your
"toolbar options" like this :

You can take away anything you don't feel is necessary in the Toolbar Options.

It's in the drop down menu on the left.

I really do like the toolbar and the ticker that tells about the games and the clock, the links and what other stuff your gonna add i think its gonna be great.

I've been using it since Sunday, I like it very much, easily customizable, well done !!!

only thing i'd like 2 see added might be all time zones listed & being able to choose what you want to see (i'm in the AST time zone)

In the position where we had the Notepad (see new Computer icon), there is now a drop down menu with these new features :

1, Notepad - as before
2, To Do Lists
3, Wikipedia Search
4, Babylon Translation Tool
5, Calculator
6, Unit Convertor
7, Show my IP function
8, YouTube Top 10

Many of these features have easily changable skins !

I also downloaded the toolbar - great to see upcoming tournaments and easy to find the important links to our forum - thumbs up for this great idea and of course for the result - when it comes to say welcome to a new forum member or poker angel - I'll definatly advertise this toolbar to them

The old Odds heading has now been changed to Tools and some new graphic symbols are
also included which should make navigation even easier.

Well done again Harry!!!

the only thing you need to add is the "when will I hit quads again" button, I'd love to see the odds on playing over about a 3 week span an average of 2 poker games max a night & hitting quads 10 times...(& I folded 4 hands in the meantime that were playable that would have hit quads also)

I am having a small issue with uploading the file for the time changes in the toolbar (out of my control). As soon as i am able, this will be rectified.

Until then, please be aware that the APF Time Convertor within the Toolbar will still read the old GMT and (pre-summer time) CET times.

Well, dang. Apparently I'm more infant rather than child. My Yahoo address is a .net and I cannot get the toolbar to work for it. I dumped the at&t Y! toolbar for yours because the only thing I needed from it was my e-mail button. I will just continue to check my mail when I remember to. Like every 5 days or so. Sure hope I don't miss any mlp news.

If we have members not using our toolbar, we need to do a better job getting the word out. I think we should bump this thread at least once a week.

New Features :

In the drop down menu with gadgets (see the Computers icon), there are now are a couple of new features :

Firstly we have a Google Maps widget which should work for anywhere in the world. This includes satelite pics
and the possibility to combine the two. It also includes a "route planner" and "business listing" so you can find your
nearest Pizza place.

Possibly even more useful is the Alarm Clock generated by nakedAlarmClock.com (and no, nothing is naked

).
There are 4 different alarm tones (a couple of really brutal ones) and you can easily give yourself a 15/30/45/60 minute snooze
at the push of a button.

No excuses for missing any of our games now !

Thank you, thank you, thank you. This alarm clock feature is fantastic. I only wish it was there yesterday. I missed a special tourn. that I had qualified for by a mere 10 minutes because I did not keep my eye on the time.

woohoo!! Harry did it again. We now have a countdown clock under the monitors button. I love it! I've already set it for an hour before the trillion freeroll. Then that nifty alarm clock function will come into play.
