Unless very sure of the opposition on a micro, don't try betting too large to stop a draw that may overtake you; because they will call... and call... and call. _________________

If we are talking cash
I would tend to play a bit tighter in a micro game
In a higher stakes game you would think the players would have a bit more knowledge about what your trying to do
But as we've all found out to our cost before now the higher the stakes doesnt always mean the better the game _________________ Nothing succeeds like a toothless budgie

micro is just another word for donk heaven, almost impossible to bet them off a pot preflop, & almost impossible to bet them off a runner runner draw either...
so stratagy, yeah it's different, weak play gets rewarded more, so play weak, limp with them aces or kings, hit a set or FH & you'll get paid off better than the preflop raise that draws mr. ace 6 off or jack 4 suited into the pot so they suck out on you... _________________

Actually, that's a great source of profit at the ring tables. Sure they suck out sometimes, but the more you can get people to over-pay when they call, the more you end up winning overall. |

I defer to you wider experience of cash table micro's Ajron . They drive me nuts I tend to avoid them. I had single table tourneys in mind when replying as I've been playing lots of them recently. _________________
